Howard Lock

Howard is an experienced Intellectual Property specialist who has enjoyed a successful career as a patent and trade mark attorney for over twenty five years. After a long career, Howard has decided to retire and we are therefore no longer taking on new clients

He is a Chartered Patent Attorney, a European Patent Attorney and a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney. Howard is qualified to provide advice to companies looking for help in trading in the UK and internationally, including both Europe and the US.

Howard founded Howard Lock Intellectual Property in 2006 to help provide guidance and support to SMEs who wanted to protect their products and services. Since forming the company, Howard has helped hundreds of businesses throughout Yorkshire and the East Midlands to obtain the right form of protection to suit their needs.

Prior to founding Howard Lock Intellectual Property, Howard worked as a partner in a major firm of UK patent attorneys. Howard has also worked in London, Nottingham and Ottawa.
